An Initiative to build Victim Free Society…
In the vibrant city of Ballari, Ballari District Police Department under the leadership of A dedicated officer Shri Ranjith Kumar Bandaru IPS Hon’ble Superintendent of Police, Ballari and the Shwaas Organization embarked on a journey to transform their community through awareness. The spark that ignited this mission was the realization that awareness could be a powerful force in preventing crime and building a safer, victim-free society.
The Genesis: Cyber Diaries
The journey began with “Cyber Diaries,” an initiative started by Shri Ranjith Kumar Bandaru IPS, Hon’ble Superintendent of Police, Ballari which was focused on raising awareness about cyber threats and online safety and to inform latest cyber crime trends. Recognizing the increasing challenges posed by the digital world, the Ballari Police team and SHWAAS as a team organized sessions, distributed informative pamphlets, and launched a blog titled “Cyber Diaries.” They aimed to empower individuals with the knowledge needed to navigate the virtual landscape securely and to build cyber suraksh samaj as the days passed State Bank of India, Ballari has joined its hand under CSR activity to raise the awareness cyber crime latest trends among the citizens.
Impact of Cyber Dairies
The impact of Cyber dairies rippled through
the city. Families became more vigilant about online activities, students
championed cyber security in their schools, and community digital awareness improved
through the awareness camps. The initiative became a symbol of unity,
empowerment, and progress
The Evolution: Awareness Initiatives
As the success of Cyber Diaries became apparent, and expanded the horizons. It delved into a mega drive of awareness initiatives covering various aspects of safety and security. With a thoughts to conduct interactive sessions in schools and colleges to hosting webinars with cyber security experts/ trained speakers with cyber safety, road safety, drug abuse and women and child safety. the team engaged the community in conversations that was a matter of concern to empower physically disabled persons and other young speakers of the city. The core belief was that an informed citizenry is a resilient one.
With each successful episodes of initiative Cyer dairies, it was recognized the need for a unified platform that could encompass their diverse awareness programs. Thus, “Jaagruth” was born—an initiative with a vision to build a victim-free society through continuous awareness efforts and A New Chapter: The Birth of Jaagruth
